After a year, Uncle Pepin roared again in the Dalešice Brewery, as the popular event called "Hrabal Night" took place within the project supported by the EEA and Norway Grants.
On this day, visitors regularly find themselves for a while in the Czech legendary moviePostřižiny, especially thanks to the scenes performed by actors of the theatre group D.U.S.O.T. which is one of the project partners.
The opening scene of the ´Postřižiny tour´ subtitled"Pepin arrived for 14 days" took place in the famous Blue Room, and then visitors walked through almost the entire brewery premises. The scene that everyone always can't wait to see, when Maryska arrives in the courtyard on a bicycle with her hair cut and gets a spanking from Francin with a cycle pump, was performed at the end of the tour.
This year, the event was also attended by fellow actors from Jaroměřice Castle Theatre, who came in costumes as Rudolf Kristian Wrbna of Kounice and Countess Elvira of Bavaria (cousin of Queen Sisi),together with their retinue. Moreover, we welcomed some Postřižiny movie enthusiasts coming in costumes, borrowed from the Horácký Theatre in Jihlava.
The event included a total of five guided tours for approximately twenty visitors. The interest to be part of the tour was very high, the courtyard of the brewery even filled up at one point, so more people could see the last most popular scene. The weather also contributed to the pleasant atmosphere, allowing the actors to perform all the scenes before the cloudburst started.
