The interest in taking part in the event known under the title ,,Not only Mr. Manager is the chief of the brewery" was again very high and the capacity of 20 participants per tourwas fully booked or even overbooked.Thanks to the animated tours performed by actors from the theatre association D.U.S.O.T. visitors could enter the places that are not usually accessible to the general public.
The tour began in the legendary ,,Blue Room" serving as the office of the superintendent, where the hiring of new brewery employees took place. The visitors were introduced to the brewmaster who showed themthe oast house and explained what the ´mash stirring paddle´ was used for.Then, visitors entered the part of the brewery where the whole brewing process starts. They learned that not only a brewer is needed for brewing, but also a stoker as well as other specific professions. After the tour visitors were invited to taste the final product directly in the local pub. On this occasion, we presented them also the professions of a ,,carry-man” and a ,,knocker-up” as we did last time.
